PROBLEM STATEMENT

How can the browser play a more active role in helping shoppers navigate their online shopping journey?

ROLE

• Lead the project conception
• Aligned teams across Edge and Bing
• Defined design specs (Desktop focused)

IMPACT

• 830K + engaged DAU
• $500M + savings from coupons auto apply
• Overwhelmingly positive user reactions & adoption

Weather coupons work or fail, or if you prefer dark or light themes; the animated imagery adapts to convey the message to you in the most light & joyful way!

The language that goes along with these visuals needed to reflect the same simplicity, honesty and celebration. Working with the content & writing team, we came up with a short and easy to understand system of messages that show based on situation.

When a coupon works → Celebrate!
When it fails → Stay humble & acknowledge it!
If there’s an error → Communicate what can be done next
If there’s a lower price found → Be upfront about how much can be saved
